Reading news

In the new English unit, 'Read all about it', pupils learnt a new text type - the news report. They learnt to name the different parts of a news article and to extract information from genuine news articles.

In this group activity, pupils selected news articles and wrote down 2 questions based on them. Their work is pasted on different parts of the classroom. The pupils then answered the questions posed by other groups. The pupils were cooperative. They were also organised in their movement around the class and focused on the tasks.
