'Endeavour' Blasts Off

I'm happy to see our new English unit 'Out of This World' generating a lot of interest in space among you. Some of you have borrowed books about the planets, milky way, the sun, etc from the school library. Good! I hope you have learnt more about the topic.

Today, in our computer-based lesson, let's watch a short video clip and read a news article about a recent space shuttle take-off. After that, complete the worksheet given.

Our Reflections on National Day

(Aleeza's reflections)
I enjoyed celebrating National Day with my friends in school. I enjoyed singing all the National Day songs. I also enjoyed the performance put up by the drama club members. In class, we learned about our national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim. It was a fun day.

(Tommy's reflections)
I find the Reflections of Singapore meaningful. It tells us how life in Singapore before independence was like. We have National Day to celebrate our independeance.
