I think everyone has done very well for this SA1. I mean EVERYONE including those who are not top of the list.

It is very heartwarming to see the students encouraging one another to work even harder.

Results are naturally important to all school children, but i must stress that school values are just as important, especially compassion.

Children who have done well should show compassion to those who have not and not mock at them. I have heard from my daughter that someone has done that to her and she was very upset.

Everyone has written essays about compassion since the school started. I think it is more important to put them into actions. It is although the teachers' duty to instill the school's values to the children, but i think the parents play an important role as well.

Luckily for my daughter, she has true friends who are very encouraging and a nice teacher who is forgiving and also encouraging.

Thank you Mrs Tay for all her effort, sweat and saliva (numerous scoldings) put in!

Three cheers to all!!
