Lesson Update (Friday)

Daily Temperature-taking
By now, the pupils are very disciplined in taking their temperature. Once they step into the classroom in the morning, they will take their temperature. Those who have recorded their temperature will read a book while waiting for their classmates to arrive.

English
The class learnt to identify words with the 'ar' sound. They also listened to a CD recording of 2 folktales and answered some questions based on the folktales.
(What you can do at home: Read English Textbook page 33)

Maths
We started on a new topic 'Length'. Pupils guessed how long 1 cm and 1 m were and then checked their guesses using their rulers and a metre-ruler. They used rulers to measure the shorter length of their Maths book. They also learnt how to convert metres to centimetres as well as convert centimetres to metres and centimetres (Maths Workbook pages 29-30).
(What you can do at home: Do Maths Workbook pages 29-30, Chapter 10 Worksheets 1 & 2)

Homework:
(1) Maths Worksheets 1 & 2 (Chapter 10)
(2) Maths Workbook pages 29-30 (Please get parent's signature on page 28)
(3) Art Folio
(4) Learn Spelling and Dictation

Note to Absentees: The school has posted some pages of your Workbook to you, so you can follow our daily lessons.

Reminder: Monday is a school holiday (Youth Day).
