Lesson Update (Thursday)

Today, we did the following.

English (computer-based lesson)
We went to the computer lab. Pupils read an African folktale online, 'Tiger and the Big Wind'. They checked out the meaning of words they did not know using an online dictionary. Then they answered some MCQ questions about the folktale. After that, they explored the website and checked out more folktales, brainteasers, games and other activities. They posted some comments on the blog.

Maths Activity
(1) Pupils were given some brochures advertising toys. They selected some items and added up the cost of all the items.
(2) Pupils did pages 27-28 of the Maths Workbook.

Art
We folded some paper cranes. Yun Jing, Felicia Lim and Felicia Peh have mastered the technique and they taught many of their friends to fold the cranes.
